Semi Senior / Senior Accountant

We're working on the behalf of a growing, friendly Accountancy Practice who are looking for a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Preparation and submission of year end accounts & tax returns to a varied client portfolio, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies
Communication with clients via phone, email, meetings etc, answering client queries
Advising clients on tax position, optimising and planning tax efficiency
Review client cashflow, budgets, pricing, training etc as needed
Reviewing bookkeeping, VAT, CIS, as needed, assisting junior members of staff as needed
Liaising with HMRC to resolve queries and issues
Managing professional development and undertaking CPD as required
You must have at least 2 year's previous experience working within an accountancy practice to be considered for this role. At the more Senior level, candidates will be expected to have circa 5+ years' of experience. You will need to have full membership to a chartered body, such as AAT, ATT, ACCA, etc. Experience using Xero, Dext, Quickbooks would be beneficial.
The company is looking for someone to work full-time, 36.5 hours per week. 1 day per week working from home is available.
