Simply Education is delighted to be recruiting a teaching assistant in the Scunthorpe area.Simply Education is currently working with an SEMH school in Scunthorpe to recruit a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join their team, supporting students in a dynamic and nurturing environment. This will be a full time position and starting as soon as possible.As a teaching assistant in an SEMH provision, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. Your main responsibilities will include:Assisting with classroom activities and educational programs.Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs.
