Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants who'd be interested in working at SEMH school's in Wolverhampton.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support students with SEMH, both in and out of the classroom Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques Work 1:1 or with small groups to help pupils re-engage with learning Build trusting, professional relationships that promote positive behaviour Assist teachers in creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment Contribute to behaviour plans and pastoral support programmes Access to a Vehicle.What We're Looking For
Experience working with young people with SEMH (school, alternative provisions, youth work, mentoring or similar) Strong communication, resilience and emotional intelligence Ability to remain calm under pressure and use positive behaviour strategies A genuine commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning Team‑working skills and a proactive approachWhy Join Tradewind?
