About the Role - Bedford
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who may face challenges in school due to emotional or behavioural needs. Your role will be key in helping them feel supported, understood, and ready to engage with learning.
You'll be someone who can model positive behaviour, remain calm under pressure, and build strong, trusting relationships with young people.
Pupils you support may experience:
Anxiety or difficulty managing emotions Behavioural challenges or attachment needs Low confidence and self-esteem Difficulty forming positive relationships The impact of trauma or challenging life experiences
