Education Network are recruiting on behalf of a specialist, trauma-informed school seeking a Maths Specialist Teacher to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maths teacher to make a real impact on students who have struggled in mainstream education, including those with SEN, SEMH needs, or disrupted learning experiences.
About the School: The school includes an alternative provision offering bespoke academic support through 1:1 and very small group interventions focused on mental health, trauma, and SEN. Behaviour management experience is essential due to the nature of the setting.
Role Overview:
Deliver high-quality Maths teaching up to GCSE level, building confidence and competence in all learners.
Teach and lead Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level to Level 2), providing personalised learning pathways.
Support students’ social and emotional development, nurturing self-belief and engagement.
Work collaboratively to create bespoke learning pathways tailored to individual needs.
Supervise and guide support staff as required.
