We are seeking an experienced and reliable Freelance Bathroom Fitter to work with us on a self-employed basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled tradesperson looking for ongoing work with a company that values quality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be a fully trained plumber and an all-round bathroom fitter with strong skills in tiling and woodworking. You will be expected to carry out bathroom installations and refurbishment works to a high standard, working efficiently, independently, and with pride in the finished result.

This role is best suited to someone who is self-motivated, organised, and capable of delivering a complete and professional finish across all aspects of bathroom fitting.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out bathroom installations and refurbishments to a high standard
• Complete all plumbing work associated with bathroom fitting
• Undertake wall and floor tiling as required
• Carry out associated woodworking and finishing works, including boxing in, bath panels, framework adjustments, trims, and general second-fix carpentry
• Ensure all work is completed neatly, safely, and to a professional finish
• Work independently and manage daily workloads effectively
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment on site
• Represent the business professionally when dealing with customers and other trades

Essential requirements

• Fully trained and experienced plumber
• Proven experience as a bathroom fitter
• Good all-round skills in plumbing, tiling, and woodworking
• Excellent attention to detail
• High standards of workmanship and pride in completed work
• Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
• Full UK driving licence
• CIS registered
• Ideally own van and tools, although a van can be provided if necessary for the right candidate

Desirable

• Experience in full bathroom refurbishments
• Ability to problem-solve on site and adapt to project requirements
• Portfolio of previous work or references available on request
• Experience working in occupied domestic properties with a professional and respectful manner
