We‘re looking for a Section Engineer to join our United Utilities Framework based across the North West of England

Location: Manchester
Hours: 45 per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Section Engineer, you‘ll be working within our water business team, supporting them in delivering exceptional engineering projects.

Your day to day will include:

• Overseeing technical delivery and ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Reviewing engineering drawings and conducting site inspections to maintain quality
• Collaborating with project teams to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Maintaining accurate project records and liaising with clients and regulatory bodies
• Promoting health, safety, and environmental best practices across all site activities

What are we looking for?

This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:

• You hold a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• You have an understanding of consents, logistics, and traffic management
• You‘re aware of commercial processes and how they support project delivery
• You have experience in people and project management
• You‘re working towards or hold Chartership with ICE, IStructE, or similar professional body (desirable)
