Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Maintain discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive classroom management. Contribute to the development of the school curriculum and participate in curriculum activities. Provide feedback to parents and guardians on a pupil’s progress at parents’ evenings and other meetings. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum. Act as a mentor to students, providing support and guidance with their educational and personal development. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Right to work in the UK. A degree in a relevant subject area. Experience teaching at the secondary level. Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum. Excellent classroom management skills.
