Secondary schools across Ashford and Canterbury are regularly relying on us for high-quality supply secondary teachers, and we are looking to expand our bank of reliable educators to support this growing demand.

We work with a number of trusted partner schools throughout the area who need teachers for daily general cover, as well as short and longer-term subject-specific roles that often develop from supply placements.

If you enjoy the flexibility of supply but would also welcome the opportunity to move into a longer-term role when the right one appears, this is an ideal opportunity to build strong relationships with local schools.

Secondary Teacher responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons for general cover across KS3–KS4
• Maintain strong classroom management and keep pupils engaged in learning
• Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings
• For longer-term roles, commit to full duration and where required take on full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking
• Support schools in maintaining consistent learning during teacher absence

Secondary Teacher requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
• Recent experience teaching in secondary classrooms
• Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
• Flexibility to travel across Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areas
• Professional, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
