As a Secondary Teacher working supply, you'll enjoy:

Flexible work schedules, with opportunities to teach across a variety of Portsmouth schools

Covering lessons within your specialism-and sometimes outside it for general cover

Valuable experience across KS3 to KS5, helping you grow your teaching career

What we expect:

Availability at least 2 days a week

Living within a reasonable distance from Portsmouth

A current UK DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one via Academics

Confidence delivering lessons to full classes or small groups

Strong behaviour management skills and ability to engage learners of all levels

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

Early Career Teachers (ECTs) welcome! Supply teaching is a fantastic way for new Secondary Teachers to gain experience and may lead to permanent roles within schools you work in.
