Secondary Teacher responsibilities: Maintain strong classroom management and keep pupils engaged in learning Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school settings For longer-term roles, commit to full duration and where required take on full teaching responsibilities including planning and marking Support schools in maintaining consistent learning during teacher absence Secondary Teacher requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK Recent experience teaching in secondary classrooms Flexibility to travel across Ashford, Canterbury and surrounding areas Professional, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching Many of our Canterbury schools regularly take teachers from daily supply into longer-term subject roles, making this a great way to establish yourself locally and secure consistent work.
