As a Secondary Teacher, you’ll be expected to:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting lessons where needed Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Support pupils of varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs Contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
This role would suit someone who:
Holds QTS (or is working towards it) Has experience teaching Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 Is confident in the classroom and passionate about education Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff Is flexible and happy to travel to schools across the RCT area Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle
Essential Requirements:
To be considered, you’ll need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent EWC registration (Teacher category) An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply Two recent references from education settings A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
