This is a great opportunity to become a positive support mechanism and role model in the lives of secondary School students across South East London. You will work as either 1:1 or with groups in helping young people with a range of barriers to learning, to access work set by class teachers and to navigate what can be very challenging days at school. Each day will bring a new challenge and also a new opportunity to help the child overcome daily difficulties and flourish at school. Doing this through academics means that, instead of committing to a restricting role in a specific school, you can try different schools, different age groups, and the different ways in which you can be a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant, in order to find your place and your career.
