Secondary School Cover Supervisor

Role: Cover Supervisor

Pay: £95 - £110 a day (based on experience)

Location: Stockport and surrounding areas

Teaching Personnel is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Stockport, including areas such as Stockport town centre, Cheadle, Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Marple, and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for individuals with prior school-based experience who are confident supervising classes, managing behaviour, and maintaining a calm and positive learning environment.

About the Role of Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in to support schools during short term staff absences on a day-to-day basis, ensuring minimal disruption to learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering pre-planned lessons set by the class teacher
Supervising whole classes across KS3 and KS4
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Keeping students on task and maintaining a focused learning environment
Providing support to pupils where required
Gaining valuable experience across a variety of subjects and year groups
