English Teacher - KS3 & KS4

We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis from February half term until the end of the academic year.

This role is ideal for a dedicated educator who is passionate about teaching English and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
• Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and enthusiasm.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions to remain current on educational practices and developments.
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to maximise student learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience as an English Teacher
• Up to date knowledge of the GCSE English Language and English Literature curriculum.
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and teaching standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive teaching environment.
