Science Teacher / Nantwich / Immediate Start / Fixed-Term Contract Are you an experienced Science Teacher looking for a part-time role with an immediate start? Academics are currently supporting a welcoming secondary school near the Nantwich area, who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a short-term contract running until July 2026 . This role is a part-time position for 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday) . The school have suggested there may be slight flexibility on days for the right candidate.

The Role: Teach across the 3 Sciences (primarily KS3) Maintain strong classroom management in line with usual cover expectations Create a positive learning environment Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback and support
Applicant Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science or a related subject Experience teaching Science at KS3 level Strong classroom management skills Ability to commit to a part-time timetable through to July 2026 Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
