Science Teacher – Long-Term Maternity Cover (Inner London)

Principal Education is working in partnership with a well-established East London secondary school to recruit a Science Teacher for a long-term maternity cover position, starting after the February half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Science Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community on a long-term basis.
The Role
Teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Ensuring strong behaviour for learning and positive classroom routines
Assessing and tracking student progress in line with departmental expectations
Working collaboratively within a committed Science department
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
Experience teaching Science at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Able to commit to a long-term maternity cover role
Passionate about delivering high-quality Science education
