Our client, a well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Dudley, is seeking a confident and committed Qualified Science Teacher to join their team immediately. This long-term role runs until July 2026, with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role:

You will deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential). Strong behaviour management is essential for this role, and the successful candidate will be able to establish clear expectations, maintain consistency, and create a calm, purposeful learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed)

*

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

*

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting high standards and positive relationships

*

Monitor, assess, and track student progress

*

Work collaboratively with the Science department, pastoral teams, and senior leadership

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Proven experience teaching Science in a secondary school setting

*

Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage challenging learners

*

Resilient, proactive, and professional approach

*

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
