Tradewind Recruitment is working with a thriving Secondary school in Thurrock to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher. You will play a key role in delivering engaging science lessons, supporting pupils' learning and development, and helping them achieve their full potential.

Position: Science Teacher
Location: Thurrock, Essex
Contract: Full-time, Summer Term

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate pupils, develop their scientific knowledge and practical skills, and foster a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons in line with the curriculum

Promote pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure consistent pupil progress

Key Skills & Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Proven experience teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4

Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills

Ability to engage and inspire pupils of varying abilities

Experience supporting pupils with additional learning needs is desirableWhy Join Us:
