Science Teacher - Secondary (Mainstream)

Contract: Long-term supply (on-going due to sickness)
Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience and pay scale

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a well-established mainstream secondary school in Bolton. This is a general science role covering a long-term sickness absence on an ongoing basis.

The school is Ofsted rated 'Good' and has an excellent reputation within the local community. It is a supportive environment with strong leadership and a positive staff culture.

The role:

Teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement

Working collaboratively within a supportive science department

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS/QTLS (or equivalent)

Have experience teaching science in a UK secondary school

Be reliable, adaptable and committed to student progress

Be confident managing classroom behaviour effectively
