School Support Worker (September 2026)
Location: Chessington, London
Position: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Support Worker to join our team at a dynamic school in Chessington. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a positive difference in their learning experiences. As a School Support Worker, you will work closely with students, teachers, and other staff to provide tailored support and ensure every child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one and small-group support for children with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), dyslexia, and other learning needs.
* Assist in delivering differentiated lessons, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
* Support students with personal care, social skills, and emotional development.
* Help students with communication, literacy, numeracy, and classroom activities.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
* A passion for supporting children in their learning journey.
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
