– Site Manager Location: Primary School Contract: Permanent, Full-Time, All Year Round Hours: 35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Line Management: Site Assistant & Cleaning Staff Start Date: ASAP Purpose of the Role The Site Manager is responsible for the effective operation of the school’s buildings, grounds, and facilities. This includes ensuring the premises are safe, secure, and ready for daily use by pupils, staff, and other users. The role also involves overseeing site staff and coordinating the setup of facilities. The Site Manager will lead the Site Assistant and cleaning staff, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and school policies.
Must hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service
Key Responsibilities Site Management & Maintenance Take overall responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of the school premises and grounds. Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs, decorating, and preventative maintenance. Ensure contractors and facilities teams comply with the asbestos register and all health & safety regulations, delivering work to required standards and best value. Monitor and maintain building systems, including heating, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
