We are seeking a motivated and reliable Science Technician to join a network of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across Croydon. This is a full-time, 5-day-per-week role, ideal for someone passionate about science education and keen to support practical learning in a school environment.

The Role

As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging and safe science lessons by:

Preparing, setting up, and clearing away equipment and materials for science experiments

Supporting teaching staff across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

Ensuring laboratories are safe, organised, and well-maintained

Managing stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment

Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

The Ideal Candidate

Has experience working in a school laboratory or a strong science background (training can be provided)

Is organised, proactive, and able to work independently

Has a strong awareness of health and safety procedures

Enjoys working as part of a collaborative school team

Is committed to supporting young people's learning and development
