About the Role We are seeking a friendly, organised and professional School Receptionist for a school based in Droitwich. As the first point of contact for parents, visitors and pupils, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient front-of-house service for the school. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys communicating with people, is confident answering phone calls, and can manage a busy reception environment with a positive attitude.

The duties of a School Receptionist: Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and external agencies Answering incoming phone calls and directing enquiries appropriately Contacting parents/carers regarding pupil attendance and other school matters Managing the reception desk and signing visitors in and out Providing general administrative support to the school office Maintaining accurate records using the school’s management information system Supporting attendance procedures and communication with families The requirements of a School Receptionist:

Friendly, professional and approachable manner An Enhanced DBS check issued within the last 12 months is required Strong communication and organisational skills Confidence answering and making telephone calls Ability to work efficiently in a busy office environment Experience using the Arbor school management system is desirable
