We're looking for a confident, proactive, and highly capable School Receptionist to join a thriving school in Dulwich. This is a long-term temporary role in a very busy and varied environment - ideal for someone who thrives under pressure and enjoys being at the heart of the action.

Every day will bring something new, and you'll need to be quick-thinking, adaptable, and ready to handle anything from safeguarding queries to last-minute schedule changes.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, parents, and students - delivering a warm and professional welcome. Manage a high volume of calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries with efficiency and care. Support with attendance tracking, student records, and general admin duties. Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Assist with first aid, emergencies, and pastoral support when needed. Liaise with staff, external agencies, and contractors to ensure smooth daily operations. Stay calm and composed in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, ideally in a school or similar setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong IT skills (SIMS experience is a bonus). Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. A flexible, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to help others.
