Invitation to Tender: School Improvement Partner Kingfisher Collaboration – Birmingham Bordesley Green, Redhill, Somerville, and St Benedict’s Primary The Kingfisher Collaboration, a committed partnership of four Birmingham Local Authority‑maintained primary schools, is inviting tenders from an exceptional School Improvement Partner (SIP) to support our continued improvement journey from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027, with potential for annual renewal. We are seeking a highly experienced school improvement professional with a strong track record of delivering impact, providing incisive challenge and support, and working confidently across multiple school contexts. 🔍 About The Opportunity The appointed SIP will work with each school’s leadership and governors and will contribute strategically to the development of the Collaboration as a whole. Core Services Include
Targeted school improvement visits, quality assurance and written reporting (2 days per school per year) Attendance at three termly Collaboration strategic meetings Headteacher Performance Management (½ day per school per year) An Annual Written Report capturing school‑level progress and collaboration‑wide themes for our Joint Governing Board Optional support for leadership recruitment and additional commissioned CPD
