Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:

Supervising classes during teacher absence

Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining positive behaviour

Supporting pupils to stay on task and engaged

Managing classroom transitions and routines effectively

Teacher Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons (long-term roles)

Ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour

Assessing pupil progress and adapting learning where needed

Working collaboratively with school teams and support staff

Upholding safeguarding and school policies at all times
