Job Vacancy: School Catering Assistant – Blaenau Gwent

Hours: 9:45am – 2:15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Pay Rate: £61.65 per day

We’re looking for a Catering Assistant to join the friendly team in a school canteen in Blaenau Gwent. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive school environment, helping to provide healthy and nutritious meals for pupils.

Main Duties:

Assisting with the preparation and serving of food

*

Ensuring kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and tidy

*

Washing up and maintaining hygiene standards

*

Supporting the catering team with daily tasks

Requirements:

Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)

*

Friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

*

A DBS check is required for this role – we can help you obtain this if needed
