School Caretaker – Wrexham

Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to work in the Wrexham area. This role is ideal for individuals with caretaking, maintenance, or handyman experience who take pride in maintaining a safe and well-kept school environment.

About the role:
As a School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security, and general upkeep of school premises. You will play a key role in ensuring the site is safe, clean, and fully operational for staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities:

* Opening and closing the school site

* Carrying out basic maintenance and repairs

* Ensuring the security of the premises

* Monitoring health and safety across the site

* Setting up rooms and facilities for school activities and events

* Liaising with contractors where required

* Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or handyman role

* School-based experience is preferable

* Good practical skills and the ability to carry out basic repairs
