We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to join a friendly and supportive school in Haringey, North London on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent depending on performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:

Opening and securing the school site
General site maintenance and minor repairs
Ensuring health & safety standards are met
Cleaning and upkeep of indoor and outdoor areas
Setting up rooms and spaces for school activities and events
Supporting with deliveries and basic site logisticsThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous caretaking, site management, or maintenance experience (preferably in a school or similar setting)
Good practical and DIY skills
A proactive, flexible, and dependable attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong awareness of health & safety proceduresStart Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: Until Summer, with potential to become permanent
Pay: Competitive, depending on experience
All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
