School Administrator Location: Tower Hamlets, East London Setting: Secondary School

We are looking to appoint an efficient, organised and welcoming School Administrator to join our busy secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a key role within the school, providing vital administrative support to staff, students and parents.

The Role: As a School Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office. You will work closely with senior leaders and support staff to deliver a high standard of administrative and clerical support.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing reception duties and welcoming visitors

Handling phone calls, emails and correspondence

Maintaining accurate pupil records and data systems

Supporting attendance, admissions and general school administration

Providing administrative support to senior leadership and teaching staff

Ensuring confidentiality and data protection at all times

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

Has previous administrative or office experience (school experience desirable)

Is highly organised with strong attention to detail

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Is confident using IT systems (e.g. MS Office, SIMS or similar)

Can work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
