Are you an experienced school administrator or someone with relevant experience looking to get started in school administration?

If so, we want to hear from you. Enlighten Supply Pool are looking for school administrators and receptionists for temporary work in the Barnet area.

Requirements to register:

Minimum 2 years professional references.

Current DBS on the update service (we can provide if not).

Entitlement to work in the UK.

Overseas police check if you have lived abroad within the last 5 years (we can provide if not).

Experience required to be successful:

Experience of using SIMS modules (including Finance 6, Personnel & Attendance, Dinner Money, Equipment Register, Accounts Receivable).

To undertake clerical duties arising from school meals provision.

To assist with the monitoring and maintenance of stock and order supplies as necessary.

To be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the manual and computerised pupil data records.

To provide general clerical support as required.

To undertake filing and photocopying as required, including the basic maintenance of the photocopier.

To undertake word processing as required.

Being a point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries and taking messages where appropriate.

Ensuring school security arrangements are always complied with, including the issue of visitor’s badges and signing of the visitor’s book.

Accepting and signing for deliveries as appropriate.

Providing hospitality for visitors to the school.

Administering, where necessary, first aid and medicine to pupils as required, in keeping with the school’s policy and order first aid supplies as necessary.

Liaising with parents regarding pupils’ sickness/injury.

Assisting with visits from the school nurse, dentist etc.

Assisting with the general welfare of pupils.
