School Administrator One-Form Entry Primary School | Barnet Start Date: ASAP

We are delighted to be recruiting a School Administrator to join our lovely one-form-entry primary school in Barnet. Our school is a friendly, inclusive, and supportive community where children are at the heart of everything we do.

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, approachable, and proactive administrator to become a valued member of our small and dedicated team. As a one-form-entry school, the role offers the chance to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff, and to play a vital part in the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

About the role: The School Administrator will be based in the main office and will often be the first point of contact for parents and visitors. The role is varied and fast-paced, requiring excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing reception and front-of-house duties

Welcoming visitors and liaising with parents and carers

Supporting attendance, admissions, and pupil records

Answering phone calls, emails, and general enquiries

Assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks to support the leadership team

Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information

About you: We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and calm under pressure, with strong organisational and IT skills. Previous experience in a school office is desirable, but not essential for the right candidate. A commitment to safeguarding and an understanding of working in a child-centred environment are essential.
