Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a School Administrator (Attendance) for a local secondary school based in Nelson.
About the School Administrator (Attendance) Role
Are you reliable, professional, and a strong communicator?
We’re looking for temporary School Administrator to join a friendly office based in a local secondary school ASAP.
Key Responsibilities of School Administrator (Attendance):
* Ensure students attendance is monitored and inputted correctly on the school Bromcom MIS system.
* Provide high-quality and pro-active administrative and reception support when required.
* Receive visitors and provide any appropriate hospitality.
* Consider incoming requests, correspondence and other documentation in order to determine significance and plan distribution. Respond / draft responses as appropriate.
* Maintain records and relevant databases of pupils and attendance as appropriate.
* Assist with the review, development and implementation of administrative procedures and processes.
Requirements of School Administrator (Attendance):
* Excellent attention to detail and punctuality
* Ideally have experience working with Bromcom MIS
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and professional in a structured environment
* Previous experience in school environment
* Must be able to commit to working full-time
