We are currently working with a well-established Housing Association who are looking to recruit an experienced Scheme Manager to support the delivery of housing services within older persons’ accommodation across the Walsall area.
This is a customer-facing role responsible for providing day-to-day tenancy and scheme management, ensuring residents can live safely, independently and comfortably in their homes.
Key Responsibilities of a Scheme Manager: Deliver day-to-day tenancy and scheme management across older persons’ housing schemes. Act as the first point of contact for residents, supporting them with tenancy-related issues and helping them sustain their tenancies. Carry out regular scheme inspections, ensuring communal areas and buildings are safe, well maintained and compliant with health and safety requirements. Manage low-level anti-social behaviour cases and tenancy breaches, working with other teams where necessary. Support the lettings process, including viewings, housing needs assessments and tenancy sign-ups. Liaise with internal teams and contractors to ensure repairs, maintenance and estate services are delivered effectively. Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation, including fire safety checks and scheme logs.
