As a Scheduling Team Manager within our Listing and Scheduling function, you will lead, manage and motivate a team responsible for the effective listing of a high volume of Fitness to Practise hearings. Working in close partnership with the wider management team, you will create a supportive and high-performing culture through coaching, clear expectations and continuous improvement. You will also be accountable for the quality, accuracy and timely delivery of your team's work, ensuring outcomes that meet both organisational and regulatory requirements.

Your role:

As a Scheduling Team Manager, some key responsibilities include:
Planning and determining the workload of the Scheduling team, ensuring effective use of available resources to meet business needs and identification of future resource requirements.
Ensuring the team operates, at all times, in compliance with the legislation, policies, practice notes, processes and guidance that govern the work of the team.
Controlling hearing risks through the undertaking of appropriate checks at all stages of the process, making recommendations and escalating any high risk hearings to Operational Managers.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with external stakeholders, including HCPC Partners, representative bodies, legal advisors and representatives.
Assist with the appointment and recruitment of FTP Partners and ensure that Partner resource and hearing allocations are fairly managed.

What we're looking for:

We are seeking someone who has:
An understanding of regulatory environments and framework.
Experience of leading or managing a team, with a proven ability to empower and motivate direct reports.
Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Excellent analytical skills, enabling you to assess information and support sound decision-making.

Location : Hybrid working with a mandatory attendance of 1-2 days a week at our office in London.
