_ Only apply if Local to Surrey/Guildford area please. _ Looking for An "Advanced Scaffolder" highly skilled construction worker responsible for erecting, altering, and dismantling complex scaffolding structures on construction sites, requiring a deep understanding of safety regulations, advanced design principles, and the ability to independently manage and supervise a scaffolding team, often including the construction of intricate scaffolding systems for challenging projects, while adhering to strict safety protocols and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Complex Scaffolding Erection: Constructing intricate scaffolding systems including suspended scaffolds, cantilevered scaffolds, and complex fa ade access systems. Site Assessment and Design: Interpreting project blueprints and site conditions to accurately design and lay out scaffolding layouts. Material Selection and Management: Selecting appropriate scaffolding components based on project requirements and ensuring proper material usage and storage. Team Leadership: Supervising a team of scaffolders, assigning tasks, and ensuring safe and efficient work practices. Safety Compliance: Thoroughly inspecting scaffolding structures for compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., TG20) Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving complex scaffolding issues on site, adapting designs to overcome obstacles Quality Control: Performing thorough quality checks on all erected scaffolding structures Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of scaffolding work, including daily progress reports and safety documentation Required Skills and Qualifications: Advanced Scaffolding Certification: A recognized advanced scaffolding qualification, such as a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder certificate Experience: Significant experience as a skilled scaffolder with a proven track record of building complex scaffolding structures Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of scaffolding components, design principles, and safety regulations Leadership Abilities: Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of scaffolders Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges on site Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks at height, including lifting and carrying heavy materials Be Able to Drive a flat bed van and get to sites Job Type: Full-time Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day Benefits: Company events Willingness to travel: 75% (required) Work Location: On the road
