About the job you're considering
As SAP Technical Architect, you will join our growing SAP team and drive presales, Architecture and delivery of our client's SAP programmes. You will be performing technical lead, advisory roles on SAP engagements across multiple industries. You will have breath across SAP technology, BTP, platform, development and integration. You will help drive both the solutions and generate business using your experience of implementing complex SAP solutions.
Our SAP finance team's capability has grown very rapidly in the last 2 years. We consistently win a huge variety of work with new and existing clients, such as benefits-led transformation, S/4HANA conversion and strategic reviews. You will work with our clients from the start of their journey to the cloud, SAP implementation through to go-live and utilising of BTP and Hyperscaler services as part of their onward cloud journey.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including:

Your role
- Design and own the architecture on our large clients, using leading edge technology, across the UK
- Lead client visits - from the stage of planning, identifying key participants, story board for the meeting, reviewing content, planning demos/team discussions and front ending the discussion.
- Solve problems for large, corporate clients in multiple sectors, working in cross-discipline, agile and distributed teams in the UK
- Define our strategy around new SAP technology
- Work with our functional teams to define solutions to modern day digital challenges
- Work in both delivery and pre-sales
- Assist the sales team in prospecting with relevant pitch and market/company specific data.
- Generate collaterals, case studies, white papers, etc. and assist sales.
- Take on project delivery roles, as required, to ensure project and service quality
- Support the development of project and consultancy portfolio items and offers for the practice.
- Be recognized as one of the go-to SAP Technical Architecture and cloud experts in the Capgemini UK business.
- Work closely with our SAP Centre of Excellence (CoE) to respond to RFPs and grow the pipeline of work
- Build strong and enduring client relationships
- Evangelise the benefits of moving to the cloud
Your skills and experience
- Passionate about SAP, Cloud and Architecture
- Ability to inspire a shared vision across client and Capgemini teams;
- A trusted client advisor with outstanding communications skills and ability to influence
- Proven ability to architect SAP on Cloud on one or more Hyperscalers, designing complex SAP landscapes
- Experience of managing and working with Senior Level Stakeholders
- Openness towards innovation and new technologies
Your security clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
