Salesperson- Food Company (Temporary, Potentially Permanent)

We are a well-established food company seeking a reliable and trustworthy Van Salesman to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

The Role:

Driving a Luton van initially, moving to a smaller van in the near future

Delivering and selling food products to an established customer round

Serving existing customers - the round is already set up

Weekly sales target of approximately £10,000

Collecting payments from customers, so honesty and reliability are essential

Working hours: 8:00am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

Pay & Benefits:

£12.50 per hour basic pay

3% commission on all money collected

Established round with immediate earning potential

Contract Type:

This is a temporary role while the current employee is off sick and may return in February

Potential to become permanent if the current employee does not return

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence

Comfortable driving a Luton van

Trustworthy and dependable

Good customer service skills

Experience in food sales or food delivery preferred but not essential

Basic food hygiene knowledge is an advantage
