About the Company:
My client is a well-established construction-related business based in Weeley, providing products and solutions to contractors, builders, and commercial clients. Due to growth, they are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Sales Specialist to drive new business and maintain strong client relationships in the construction sector.
The Role:
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating leads, managing existing accounts, and promoting our products and services to construction professionals. This role requires a mix of office-based and field sales, providing excellent customer service and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities within the construction sector
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients
  • Providing product knowledge, technical advice, and solutions to customers
  • Preparing quotations, proposals, and presentations
  • Achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Attending trade shows, site visits, and customer meetings as required
  • Collaborating with the internal team to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments

Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in construction or related industries
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Technical knowledge of construction products is highly desirable
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:
  • Previous experience with B2B account management in construction
  • Familiarity with CRM systems
