Sales Representative / Account Executive - Commercial Department - Freight ForwardingAre you an experienced Freight Forwarding professional with a passion for sales and building long-term client relationships?Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client who are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Representative / Account Executive to join their growing Commercial Department.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the Freight Forwarding industry and thrives in a target-driven environment.About the RoleAs a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and developing long-term partnerships with clients. You will act as the main point of contact between the company and customers, ensuring a seamless journey from initial enquiry through to successful handover to operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively prospect, cold call, and qualify leads to build and maintain a strong sales pipelineManage the full sales cycle: from initial enquiry through pricing, negotiation with service providers, and closing bookingsPrepare and follow up on weekly/monthly quotes and tendersInput costs and charges accurately into internal systemsDevelop and manage strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive retention and repeat businessFocus on onboarding clients and building consistent weekly/bi-weekly/monthly shipment flowEnsure a detailed and accurate handover to the Operations team once business is securedContinuously identify opportunities to grow revenue and promote company servicesWhat We're Looking ForProven experience within the Freight Forwarding industry (essential)Strong understanding of import/export processes, pricing structures, and service provider negotiationsConfident communicator with excellent relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated, target-driven, and commercially awareStrong organisational skills and attention to detailWhat We OfferCompetitive salary: £31,000 - £37,000 (depending on experience)Opportunity to work within a supportive and ambitious commercial teamClear opportunity for growth and career progressionIf you have Freight Forwarding knowledge, a strong commercial mindset, and the confidence to communicate effectively with clients and service providers, we would love to hear from you.Please send your CV to Colleen Farquharson via the apply link Brook Street NMR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
