Sales Office Manager Country House Hotel | Surrey Competitive Salary c £45-50k + Benefits A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales office Manager to join a beautiful country house hotel in Surrey. This is a key role within the commercial team, responsible for driving and converting weddings, conferences and events while ensuring exceptional coordination and delivery across the hotel. We are seeking a confident, organised and commercially minded individual with a proven background in hotel-based C&E sales and a strong working knowledge of OPERA PMS and Sales & Catering. The Role As Sales office Manager, you will take ownership of the inbound enquiries, manage and set performance goals with your 6 strong team of coordinators, ensuring enquiries are converted efficiently and events are flawlessly managed from enquiry to delivery. Key Responsibilities Include: managing and converting wedding, conference and event enquiries Managing and maintaining the function diary Reviewing and managing outstanding activities Collating, quality-checking and issuing function sheets to the hotel team Attending and leading function sheet meetings Managing the team rota and daily task lists Coordinating and managing high-value bookings (£40k+) Ensuring strong communication between sales, operations and the wider hotel team Maintaining accurate records within OPERA PMS and Sales & Catering What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Hotel Sales office Management role Proven track record of achieving high conversion rates within the weddings, conferences and events space In-depth working knowledge of OPERA PMS and Sales (essential) Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent attention to detail A positive, proactive and outgoing personality with a genuine "can do" attitude Commercially aware with strong business acumen and an eye for opportunity Highly motivated, energetic and passionate about hospitality and guest experience What's On Offer Competitive salary package and exceptional company benefits Opportunity to work within a stunning country house hotel environment A supportive and professional senior management team Excellent career development opportunities within the hospitality sector If you are an experienced Conference & Events Sales Manager looking to progress your career within a quality country house hotel, we would love to hear from you.
