Stay up to date on industry trends, local market conditions, and competitors. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and lead generation. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and community contacts. Use KPIs to monitor and drive sales performance, reporting regularly to leadership. Support the GM and Marketing & Sales Director with revenue forecasting and sales planning. Collaborate daily with venue and kitchen teams to ensure smooth event operations. Work closely with marketing, guest services, and operations teams to align sales strategies with business goals. Attend regular training and sales meetings at head office. Ideal Sales Manager: A strong communicator and negotiator with excellent interpersonal skills. Passionate about exceeding expectations with genuine care and professionalism. Emotionally intelligent, self-aware, and able to stay organized under pressure. Skilled in time management and prioritization. Minimum 1 year experience as a Sales Manager in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or entertainment venue with £2M+ annual event/group revenue. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ideally 3+ years experience in B2B and/or B2C sales. Knowledge of local business networks and client base is a plus.
