Internal Sales Executive – Exciting Opportunity with a Leading Industry Client! \n\nSalary increasing to £28,500 after 6 months.\n\nOur client, a respected and rapidly growing business within their sector, is looking for a talented Internal Sales Executive to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced sales environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and wants to be a key driver in project and revenue growth.\n\nWe are proud to be supporting our client in the search for someone who is proactive, customer‑focused, and passionate about delivering results.\n\n⭐ About the Role\n\nAs the Internal Sales Executive, you will play a central role in managing internal sales accounts, handling project enquiries under £100k, progressing opportunities from enquiry to order, and supporting pricing enquiries from subcontractors.

You’ll work closely with the wider Internal Sales and Estimating teams to support business development and drive quote conversion.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nCustomer & Project Support\n\nHandle incoming customer and supplier calls, providing exceptional service and expert support.\n\nProgress project enquiries through to order, confidently managing enquiries under £100k.\n\nRespond promptly to subcontractor pricing enquiries.\n\nResolve customer queries and complaints while maintaining professionalism and trust.\n\nCRM & Project Management\n\nKeep the CRM system updated with accurate project, company, and contact information.\n\nAnalyse CRM activity to identify unchased or inactive projects.\n\nConduct research into project influencers, especially for major developments.\n\nProcess sample requests and manage RMA procedures.\n\nCommunication & Collaboration\n\nAct as a central communication link between key customers and the Specification team.\n\nWork daily with the Internal Sales team to follow up on outstanding quotes and improve conversion rates.\n\nCollaborate closely with the Estimating team to ensure “Right First Time” schedules.\n\nSales Growth\n\nIdentify new opportunities on non-specified projects by offering knowledgeable guidance.\n\nSupport the development of long‑lasting contractor relationships.\n\n Key Competencies\n\nResults Focus: Committed to delivering high‑quality work with accountability.\n\nInitiative: Proactive in problem‑solving and process improvement.\n\nAdaptability & Resilience: Comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment.\n\nCustomer Focus: Dedicated to exceeding customer expectations.\n\nTeamwork: Works collaboratively and supports colleagues effectively.\n\nPassion for Sales: Motivated by driving sales and providing excellent service.\n\n Why Apply?\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and ambitious organisation where your contribution will directly impact business growth.
