The Opportunity

If you are ready to sell vehicles that combine style, performance, and smart technology, this is the role for you. Sandown Group is looking for a Vehicle Sales Executive to join our Newbury team and represent the full Chery range. Youll support customers as they explore these modern, tech-forward vehicles and guide them confidently through the buying process.

Duties will include:

• Assisting customers in finding their desired vehicle.
• Contacting interested parties and customers by telephone and in writing to generate Sales Leads.
• Conducting face-to-face meetings
• Informing and advising visitors on the full Chery range of vehicles, equipment, prices, conditions, technical data and other information
• Evaluating used cars and conducting appraisals of customers vehicle
• Assessing the condition of Trade Ins and ensuring all defects /damage reported and recorded prior to a Part Exchange price being agreed.
• Organising and carrying out test-drives and evaluate results.
• Involvement in sales events.
• Guaranteeing professional level of product presentation (price marking, accessibility, cleanliness, etc).

Exceptional customer service skills are essential as is a proactive approach and determination to sell cars. Successful candidates will currently be working in sales in the motor trade.

The showroom is open from 8.00 - 18.30 Monday to Friday, 08.30 17:00 Saturday and 10:00 16:00 Sunday. Weekend work on a rota basis will be required however; a 5-day week will be worked.

41 hours per week

Applicants must hold a full driving licence.
