Established for over 45 years and now one of the North West’s leading Engineering companies, WEC is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our busy and expanding team based in Knowsley, Liverpool.

Responsibilities

· To quote and sell the services of laser cutting, press brake, welding and sub-con operations

* Promote the products and services of this sub contract division and look for new business

* Quote existing customers, maintaining a high standard of service

* Maintain and grow current customer working relationships

Knowledge, Skills, Experience

Ideally candidates should have experience in a similar estimating capacity within the metals industry, preferably from a laser cutting, profiling, or aqua jet cutting background.

Ideal candidates must have excellent organisational, numeracy and computer literacy skills and the ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings to discuss solutions and be able to prepare and submit quotations in a professional manner.
