Role: Sales Engineer Pumps
Location: Portsmouth/ Field Based
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
My client is looking for a Sales Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical background in pumps or fluid systems who enjoys a mix of client relationships management, technical sales and solution based selling.
Responsibilities:
Managing and growing an existing portfolio of industrial and commercial clients Identifying and developing new business opportunities across key sectors (water, wastewater, manufacturing, utilities) Providing technical advice on pump selection, system design, and specifications Preparing quotations, proposals, and tenders Working closely with internal engineering and service teams to deliver tailored solutions Attending client meetings, site visits, and industry events
Skills and experience:
Proven experience in a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales role Knowledge of pumps, fluid handling, or rotating equipment Ability to understand technical specifications and advise customers accordingly Background in sectors such as water, wastewater, industrial or manufacturing Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Full UK driving licenceWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
