We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a successful and growing construction and building company based in Barnet , who are looking to appoint a Sales Design Consultant to join their high-performing sales team.
This is a target-driven, consultative sales role offering excellent earning potential, ideal for a confident closer who enjoys converting enquiries into profitable projects.
The Role:
As a Sales Design Consultant, you will manage the full sales process from initial enquiry through to close. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, present tailored design and build solutions, and consistently achieve and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing inbound sales leads and converting them into confirmed projects

Conducting client consultations (face-to-face and virtual)

Identifying opportunities to upsell and maximise contract value

Producing and presenting quotations and proposals

Closing deals and delivering against monthly and quarterly revenue targets

Building strong client relationships to generate repeat and referral business

Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales pipeline reporting

Coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover post-sale

Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in a sales-driven role , ideally within construction, building, home improvement, or interiors

Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets

Strong negotiation and closing skills

Consultative, commercially focused sales approach

Confident, professional communicator with excellent presentation skills

Highly organised with strong pipeline management ability

Desirable:
Experience in design-led or project-based sales

Knowledge of construction processes or materials

Full UK driving licence
