Clarkes Floors & Furniture is a long-established, family-run flooring business (est. 1968) serving Essex and London. Due to continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our team with a Senior Sales & Aftersales Coordinator.

This is a hands-on, senior support role focused on customer care and sales-floor contribution.

Aftersales (Primary Focus)

You will take ownership of customer aftersales issues, including:

• Managing complaints from first contact to resolution
• Liaising with customers, fitters, warehouse and suppliers
• Organising inspections and remedial works
• Keeping customers informed throughout the process
• Maintaining clear records and reporting trends to management

Sales Floor Support (Secondary Focus)

You will also:

• Serve customers on the shop floor
• Prepare quotations
• Support the sales team during busy periods and Saturdays
• Help maintain a calm, professional customer environment

• Experience in flooring, home improvement, retail sales/aftersales, or distribution preferred
• Confident handling customer complaints and difficult conversations
• Organised, calm under pressure, and reliable
• Comfortable working directly with customers and colleagues
• Looking for a stable, long-term role with progression

• £32,000 – £35,000 starting salary (depending on experience)
