Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Sales & Events Manager to join a Luxury hospitality venue. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a passion for events and guest experience, particularly within weddings and social occasions.
You will take ownership of the full event lifecycle, from initial enquiry through to delivery and post-event analysis, while working collaboratively across all operational departments to ensure a seamless client journey. A key part of the role will be driving revenue growth, maximising conversions, and reporting on performance metrics to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation Drive new business across weddings, private events, and social functions
Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through a consultative sales approach
Deliver engaging site visits and bespoke proposals tailored to client needs
Build strong relationships with external partners, including planners and suppliers
Consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
Identify new opportunities through market and competitor analysis
Event Management Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of events
Act as the primary client contact, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience
Produce detailed event documentation including contracts, function sheets, and schedules
Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure operational alignment
Manage all event logistics, ensuring flawless delivery on the day
Weddings & Social Events Focus Lead all wedding-related sales and coordination activity
Support clients throughout their planning journey with expert guidance
Continuously evolve and enhance event packages in line with industry trends
Represent the venue at showcases and promotional events
Maintain a trusted network of preferred suppliers
Client Experience Deliver a consistently high level of service at every stage of the customer journey
Handle client feedback and queries with professionalism and efficiency
Conduct post-event follow-ups to build long-term relationships and repeat business
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Reporting & Administration Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and forecasting
Utilise CRM and event systems to track conversions and business trends
Prepare regular reports for senior management
Ensure all financial processes, including contracts and payments, are completed accurately
Skills & Experience Previous experience in events sales and coordination (hospitality or similar environment preferred)
Strong background in weddings and social events
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Confident communicator with strong relationship-building abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
Familiarity with CRM and event management systems
Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and holidays
